NSW:Gina Rinehart family battle judgment today

Australia's richest person, GINA RINEHART, will hear today whether she'll be allowed
to keep secret, details of a legal battle with three of her four children over their
multi-billion dollar family trust.
On Monday, the NSW Court of Appeal overturned a suppression order on details of the
case made on October 31 by a Supreme Court judge.
But in a late sitting that afternoon before Justice MARGARET BEAZLEY, Ms RINEHART'S
lawyers argued for a stay of the decision to enable them to apply to the High Court for
leave to appeal.
The proceedings against the iron-ore heiress have been brought by her children HOPE
RINEHART WELKER, JOHN LANGLEY HANCOCK and BIANCA HOPE RINEHART, who want to oust her as
trustee of the multi-billion dollar family trust, set up by mining magnate LANG HANCOCK
before he died.
A fourth child, GINIA HOPE FRANCES RINEHART, supports her mother.
Justice BEAZLEY will announce her decision today.
