LEADING AUSTRALIAN FILM EXECUTIVE JOINS NEW DISCOVERIES

SYDNEY, Australia, April 20, 1999/MediaNet International-AsiaNet/--Mr Peter
Michaels today announced that one of Australia's leading film and production
studio facilities managers has joined the Australian operation of New
Discoveries Publishing Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: NWDP).

"I am pleased to announce that Mr Malcolm Edwards has agreed to join our
team. He will be responsible for assessing and commissioning our TV studio
requirements.

"We see Mr Edwards advising NWDP on the development of production
facilities, preparing protocols and procedures and assembling all the
technical components required to enable us to live broadcast," Mr Michaels
said.

"Mr Edwards previous position was as Studio Facilities Manager for Fox
Studios Australia, which is a joint venture with Fox Entertainment group, a
subsidiary of News Corporation Limited (NYSE: NWS), (ASX:NCP) and Lend Lease
Corporation (ASX:LLC). He was responsible for the maintenance and operation of
the Professional Studio Facilities.

"The two largest films ever made in Australia, the sequel to Babe and The
Matrix were produced during my tenure at Fox," Mr Edwards said.

"The concept of developing a facility capable of delivering a live
television broadcast simultaneously linked to online gaming is exciting and
challenges traditional thinking in terms of making gaming truly entertaining,"

Mr Edwards said.

Peter Michaels said: "Malcolm's superior technical expertise and knowledge
of the Australian Film and Television industry would be vital to New
Discoveries maximising the opportunities that are available to an e-commerce
and worldwide online gaming operation.

"Malcolm's 18 years experience in client service and property operations,
together with his ability to innovate and solve technical issues and his
thoroughness in terms of on-going maintenance will be most valuable to our
organisation," he said.

"Immediately Malcolm will be involved in sourcing the latest equipment for
the facilities. He has already left Australia for the US to commence this
task."
